How much does an online shop cost?
It depends on the platform, how many products you have and which features you need, so we quote every shop individually. You get a fixed written quote after a short call, before you pay anything.
Which platform should I choose?
Shopify suits most shops that want to start quickly and run things themselves. WooCommerce suits businesses that want the shop inside a fuller WordPress site. A custom build suits products or pricing a standard shop can't handle. We recommend one on the call, based on what you sell and your budget.
Can I add products and manage orders myself?
Yes. On Shopify and WooCommerce you manage products, prices, stock and orders from their dashboard, and we walk you through it at handover. For a custom build, we agree in the quote exactly what you can edit yourself.
What are the running costs?
Shopify charges its monthly plan directly to you. WooCommerce and custom builds need hosting, billed by the provider at cost. Payment providers charge their own transaction fees. We set out every running cost in your quote.
How long does it take?
It depends on the platform and how many products we set up, so we confirm the timeline in your quote before you pay anything.
Who owns the shop?
You do. The design, content, product data and domain are yours, and every account is set up in your name. There is no lock-in.
